So I know that there is a lot on Bailey on our blog but I just can't resist. I finally was able to get a few pictures of her holding her head up. She seems to change everyday and I can't believe how much she is growing. She is also sleeping better. Last night she slept from 7:30pm to 5am then went to sleep again until 9am. We are so blessed! We love her so much.
Funny: These mittens were from Starbucks gift cards! Hey they work
I thought I would post this picture of our family bread that is made for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I made this bread for the first time by myself and I made it for Nate. We had a wonderful time with the Gregory's for Thanksgiving. Also, Dave organized our garage, it looks fabulous. I love how organized he is!!
Of course a post wouldn't be a post without a cute picture of Miss Bailey...she is learning to hold her head up it is a lot of fun (although I just missed it here in this picture)!
Congrats to the Utah fans for a great win over BYU on Saturday...yes, we were cheering for Utah!! Bailey was also cheering for Utah and Wyoming at the same time. Also, today is her 2 month appointment, which is apparently the worst appointment. Here are a few photos of her while she is still content today. She is learning to smile and is interacting with us more and more every day. She is truly a joy to have in our family!
Sorry it has been a while. We are still waiting for pictures of Bailey's blessing but we did take a few which are posted. The brisket also was fabulous thanks to Dave!! Thank you so much to those family members who were here we loved it and for those who couldn't make it we missed you and thank you for your love and support. Also, thanks to Sherri for providing the dress and the darling bow! Check out Shindyz!! Also, we have been wanting a nice reading chair for Dave since we moved into our house. We finally found the perfect chair. It is a fun Daddy Daughter reading chair as well and Bailey loves it!
Somehow babies can be comfortable in any position!
Thanks Big B for your help. Sadly after she ate this bottle, we realized that she had a MAJOR blow out on Brian, then she spit up on his shirt. That takes true love to deal with that!

Happy Halloween!! We had a fun evening. Dave invited the teachers and leaders from the ward over for a party. There was pumpkin carving, chili and breadsticks (of course), and games. We had a great time. Also, Grandma J. gave Bailey this darling costume. Funny enough, she almost didn't fit in it because she is getting so tall.
So I couldn't stand the thought of losing these pictures, so I tried one more time. Miraculously, the pictures were back on my camera!! I don't understand digital sometimes. Anyway, here are some of her "FIRSTS" and just some other cute pictures!
Well, I was going to post a bunch of pictures of Bailey's "FIRSTS" but I went to download the pictures from my camera and there is only one picture on it. There were pictures of her first trip to the temple, Dad's first day of dressing her, and some others that I cannot remember. I guess that is why cameras with film are sometimes better. Well, I do have the one picture that I will post. She was really fussy and we had a million things going on so I put her in the snugli, she wouldn't take her pacifier but ended up falling asleep sucking on the snugli. I guess whatever floats your boat!!
Sherri made some really cute bows for Bailey to wear. One of my favorite is the Wyoming bow. She wore it on Saturday to support her Dad's Cowboys. Hopefully with another fan cheering them on, they can improve their record. Anyway, here is a clip of her and her stylin' bow. Thanks Sherri.
Sorry it has taken me so long but here are some pictures of our sweetheart. Now that I feel up to walking up the stairs I can post some pictures!! Bailey is doing well, she is now back up to her birth weight and is 21 1/8 in. long. I think the first doctor was wrong but she is a growing girl. Both Grandma's have been here to visit and it has been so much fun. Thanks to both our grandma's, we are so lucky to have you. We love Bailey and are so excited to have her here.

Here's Bailey. She was born on Tuesday, Sep 23rd at 8:51 P.M. She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz, and was 19 3/4 in. long. She is cute!
For those of you who are wondering, we managed to make it through the hurricane fairly well. Although we were out of power for about a week, we are grateful for food storage and good neighbors. We lost part of our fence, some branches fell, and we have a lot of leaves but other than that we turned out pretty good. Here are some pictures of our home. We really were blessed. Also, last Friday night, the night of the hurricane we were going to have Chinese takeout from our kitchen :) and we were in the middle of making Orange Chicken when the power went out. That is what the picture of the dark kitchen is. Needless to say, we had a romantic candelit dinner!
We are still not 100% finished with Bailey's nursery but since she still hasn't come we still have time hee hee. Here are some pictures of before, during, and now. It has been a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun. We are excited for Bailey's arrival and will let you know when she does decide to come.
